In 2003, my daughter, Cassie, and I decided to start our own business. Cassie was 16 at the time. We started out by making fabric book covers and selling them at local craft fairs. We decided to name the company "Beach Covers" using our last name (Beach) for the book covers.
After a couple of years of hard sewing, my sewing machine gave out. My husband, who loves gadgets, bought me an embroidery machine, thus introducing me to the world of machine embroidery!
Cassie has grown up and moved on, but I'm still at it! I do still make the book covers (see me at a craft show to purchase one), but the majority of my work is now embroidery. I love coming up with new things to embroider on and finding new designs. I also love sharing it all with you! Hope you enjoy my work as much as I do!
